International Bartenders and Sommelier School (MSBiS)

was established in 2002 and today celebrates its 15th anniversary. MSBiS was, and still is, the first and only school of its kind in Poland and the largest (in terms of its area, offer and the number of graduates) in Europe. MSBiS is the leader in the catering industry training.

MSBiS conducts professional trainings and courses, including the most popular regular, intensive two-week Bartending Training. The school’s offer also includes: Sommelier Courses, Barista Courses, Courses for Waiters, Flair Trainings, Molecular Mixology Trainings, as well as Managerial Trainings. The school also offers optional (refresher) workshops for our graduates – professional bartenders.

The "Drink Up" Cocktail Workshops is a proposal for everyone – these are short trainings devoted to specific subjects. They aim to enable amateurs to develop personal skills within the framework of a creative and fun-filled training course.

The high level of teaching and the reliability of the staff have resulted in MSBiS’s recognition and its wide cooperation with the alcohol and catering industries and the HoReCa sector.

The school enjoys trust and for years has continued to cooperate with labor market institutions, Labor Offices, TSOs, CPR, OHP, Catering Schools and many other organizations.

Its own original training program and its measurable results have already been supported by the European Union funds under the European Social Fund's HCF, which enabled the school to carry out its own projects for nearly one thousand people from the HoReCa sector as well as special courses for the unemployed orienting them at finding jobs successfully.

MSBiS has been a contributor to many bartender events and competitions. Thanks to this, the group of bartenders affiliated with the school continues to develop their passions and skills, developing at the same time a creative community and professional culture through cooperation and competitiveness.

As part of its event activity, MSBiS provides event service, organizes integration workshops, bartending demonstrations as well as product and thematic presentations and tastings.

MSBiS has also created mojbar.pl which offers news, interesting facts, tips and recipes as well as instructional and training videos. The articles are intended for amateurs – non-gastronomists – with the aim to familiarize them not only with alcohol-related topics, but also to raise their awareness of the cocktail culture and that of a responsible and thoughtful approach to alcohol consumption.

As its bar consulting activity, MSBiS assists individuals intending to set up their own businesses in the bar/restaurant sector with creating unique concepts, employing staff, composing menus and selecting stock that is functional and well-suited to the profile of the place and its clientele.

This part of our website has been created with foreign restaurant/ bar/ pub owners in mind.

As potential employers of our graduates, you might be standing right now with our certificate in your hand, reading it and wondering if the bearer possesses any valuable qualifications in bartending. Just give our graduate a chance to demonstrate his or her skills and you’ll be amazed to find that the person is crčme de la crčme of the art of bartending.

Not only they are trained theoretically and practically, but they also had to devote a lot of time and work to prove their qualifications so as to receive their diplomas.

We are truly proud of our graduates, who work not only in Poland, but all over Europe now, and we hope their skills and expertise will make you satisfied proprietors and your establishments even more prosperous.
